Ajax manager Erik ten Hag tipped to take over from sarri at chelsea.

The blues look set to be searching for a new boss for the second consecutive summer, with maurizio sarri most likely on his way to the Italian side, juventus, after winning the Europa league in his first season at Stamford Bridge.

French football journalist Julien Laurens strongly believes Ten Hag would be an ideal fit for the club.

He led Ajax to a domestic to a domestic double and to the Champions League semi-final,where they came seconds from reaching the final-before conceding a heartbreaking last-minute goal against Tottenham Hotspur.

Ten Hag also helped develop a number of young first-team players, most notably Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt.

Speaking to Natalie Sawyer on talkSPORT, Laurens said: "It's a huge summer for Chelsea".

"It's a key time to decide what direction they go in this summer and with who they go into that new direction with."

"I think sarri will go to Juventus,so the new Manager will be massive. They can't get this one wrong."

"Either they bring through other young players or they hope for the best and the transfer ban gets frozen so they can spend a bit money".

"They can try to go for Erik ten Hag at Ajax. His English is perfect and chelsea have got this amazing academy, with players like Mason Mount and others ".

                                    Huge credit to talkSPORT.
