Nigeria Women's National football team lost first game at the 2019 Women's World Cup

The Nigeria super falcons lost 3-0 to their counterparts from Norway in their first game at the ongoing 2019 FIFA women's World Cup on Saturday night, June 8th,2019.





Goals from Chelsea women's new player Guro Reiten, Lisa-Marie Utland and the super falcons player Ohale(own goal) gave the Norway women side a huge advantage going into the break.
There were no goals in the second half, even though Thomas Dennarby(the super falcons coach)'s girls tried their best to have the ball at the back of Norway's net.
Nigeria will face Korea republic in their next game on June 12,knowing that another defeat will result in early elimination from the tournament.
